Dan Maydan and Julien Nguyen to sit on Advisory Board for GES, Inc. |

Former Applied Materials President Dan Maydan (pictured) and venture capitalist Julien Nguyen have been appointed to the Advisory Board for GES Inc., the San Jose-based semiconductor equipment company. GES will take advantage of the years of business and technical expertise on offer from the two industry veterans.
Dan Maydan retired from his post as President of Applied Materials having spent over 25 years with the company. He was elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1998 and has received numerous awards over the years for his contributions to the semiconductor industry. He has a B.Sc. degree and an M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Technion, and holds a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Edinburgh.
Julien Nguyen has led investments for Applied Materials Ventures and Concept Ventures, both of which he founded, for several technology companies. Nguyen brings over 25 years of operational technology experience to the role.
