A leading Japanese IC manufacturer will use Intermolecular's ‘High-Productivity Combinatorial’ (HPC) technology for rapid research and development of new memory materials, processes and integration. The Collaborative Development Program (CDP) will be based at Intermolecular's facility in San Jose, California.
“Japan is a primary market for Intermolecular and this agreement expands our customer base here as our HPC technology demonstrates a clear competitive advantage,” said David Lazovsky, Intermolecular’s Chief Executive Officer. “This Collaborative Development Program builds on the momentum of another existing Intermolecular advanced-memory development program and further validates the power of HPC technology to drive R&D productivity.”
