Mirics Semiconductor has enlisted the expertise of Joseph Chu, to oversee the company’s global broadcast receiver business in the Asia Pacific region. Mr Chu brings over 20 years of experience in the semiconductor industry to the role from employs with companies including STMicroelectronics and Harris Semiconductor (now Intersil).

Of those 20 years in the industry, 15 were spent focusing on sales and marketing activities for the Asia region. With STMicroelectronics’ Telecom Segment, he headed up the Wireless Infrastructure Business Unit based in Shanghai, while his role with Harris Semiconductor saw him assume responsibility for the company’s sales and marketing for the Central Asia region. He also worked in commercial management roles with companies including AT&T, Vishay, Inc. and IDT, Inc.
