The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University of Albany has announced its two-day IC fab course, which will take place early next year.  CNSE’s “IC Fab West” training course on IC fabrication and yield control will take place on January 9th and 10th, 2008 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Milipitas, California.

Presented by Dr. Ernest Levine, formerly of IBM, the course will cover the problems and hurdles faced by IC fabrication engineers, and has been attended in the past by representatives of some of the major players in the semiconductor industry.  Costing $1,175 for a two-day tuition course (including continental breakfast and lunch!), the class sizes are limited and those interested are advised to book early.  Further information is available here.
