SEMI has continued its show shuffling with the news that SEMICON Taiwan will be co-located with International IC-Taiwan Conference & Exhibition (IIC-Taiwan) in 2008. IIC-Taiwan is run by events organization Global Sources. The trade shows are scheduled to run from Sept. 9-11, 2008 at the Taipei World Trade Center.
"The co-located shows are expected to enable design engineers to see and learn about all products and technologies covering electronics development -- from design to manufacturing," said Mark A. Saunderson, President of Global Sources' Electronics Business Unit. "The new format is designed to give vendors a stronger platform to engage current and prospective customers."
SEMI recently announced that its flagship event SEMICON West would also host Intersolar North America in West Hall Level 3. The move mirrors this year’s SEMICON Europa which had one of two halls almost dedicated to PV equipment suppliers, coupled with a date and location change.
