Martin Nuss takes up Vitesse’s new Technology and Strategy VP role

The newly-created role of Vice President of Technology and Strategy for Vitesse has been filled by Martin Nuss, who brings more than 20 years of experience in strategic product markets to the role. His responsibilities will include the identification of product markets and technologies to further the company’s growth.
Mr. Nuss’s most recent employ was as CTO of Ciena’s Optical Ethernet Group, prior to which he was founder and CTO of Internet Photonics, a company that was subsequently acquired by Ciena. He also spent 15 years working at Bell Labs in roles including Director of the Optical Data Networks Research Department. A Fellow of the Optical Society of America and a member of the IEEE, Mr. Nuss has a doctorate in applied physics from the Technical University in Munich, Germany.
Vitesse is a fabless semiconductor company.
