NXP’s Maria Marced appointed President of Europe for TSMC Print E-mail

M. MarcedTSMC Europe’s President Kees den Otter has announced his retirement, and with this news, the company has named a replacement for Mr. den Otter in Maria Marced (pictured), former Senior Vice President at NXP. Ms. Marced will report to Dr. Kenneth Kin, Senior VP of Worldwide Sales and Service. 

Ms. Marced’s role at NXP was as Senior VP and General Manager of Sales and Marketing.  Prior to this role, she was Senior VP and General Manager of Philips Semiconductors’ Connected Multimedia Solutions Business Unit, which she preceded with a post as Vice President and head of operations for Intel. She has a Ph.D. in telecommunications from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid in Spain.

TSMC is the world’s largest semiconductor foundry.
