Len Perham replaces Chet Silvestri as Mosys CEO; CFO resigns |

Management changes are afoot for Mosys, with the replacement of Chet Silvestri as President and CEO by Len Perham (pictured), and the coinciding resignation of company CFO James Pekarsky. Reasons for the departure of Mr. Silvestri and the resignation of Mr. Pekarsky were not divulged in the company press release.
Len Perham’s career includes a number of senior executive positions, including his most recent role as President and CEO of Integrated Device Technology, from which he retired in 2000 after serving for nearly 20 years. He was one of the original investors of Mosys, and served on the Board of Directors for the company’s first seven years. Since 2000, he has been serving as Chairman of the Board for companies including NetLogic Microsystems, QuickSil, Inc., and Optimal Corp.
A member of the founding team at Zilog, Inc., Mr. Perham was CEO for Optical Information Systems, Inc., and has held management posts with AMD and Western Digital. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
