S. BrooksNextreme Thermal Solutions is planning a move to a new 14,000 square foot manufacturing facility, the ramping of which will be managed and led by Stephen Brooks (pictured), who has recently been named as Director of Manufacturing.  This role will see the former Amkor Technology Operations Director coordinate Nextreme’s move to the new facility.

“[Stephen’s] leadership will enable us to construct and ramp a world class manufacturing facility to meet the growing demands from customers,” said Nextreme’s COO Jim Mundell.

Previous to his time at Amkor, Brooks served as Director of Operations with JDS Uniphase, where he oversaw the establishment of a new MEMS wafer facility for the company.  He also spent 15 years at Mitsubishi Semiconductor’s DRAM production facility, including two years in the company’s microelectronics manufacturing operations sites in Japan.  Mr. Brooks is a graduate of North Carolina State University.

Nextreme Thermal Solutions, Inc. is a power management product manufacturer.
