Silicon & Software Systems (S3) has acquired Acacia Semiconductor, the analog IP company, for an undisclosed sum.  The takeover will involve the integration of Acacia’s technology and designers to combine with S3’s products and design. 

Dublin- and Lisbon-based S3 hopes that the acquisition will add to the company’s growth by taking advantage of the addition of Acacia’s established customer base to its portfolio.
