USDC starts up online career center Print E-mail
Nov 14, 2006 at 10:48 AM
One item that recently crossed my desk---well, it really hit my email inbox---has a very practical bent. The US Display Consortium, commonly called USDC, has started up an online career center.

The center has several search and management bells and whistles with fairly friendly functionality. According to USDC, in its first month the site attracted 60 job postings and 50 resumes. When I checked it earlier today, there were 71 jobs listed, including a wide variety of engineering and science positions as well as some in marketing, sales, logistics, and operations. One interesting thing I noticed was the amount of job offerings by companies working on flexible display technologies, an emerging market with tremendous long-term potential.

The USDC career site is a welcome addition to the family of micro-/nanoelectronics-focused online employment resources.
