That's Nanolithosolution, with no "s" at the end Print E-mail
May 03, 2007 at 12:20 PM
Hewlett-Packard's announcement earlier this week of the licensing of some of its nanoimprint lithography tech to a new company received an healthy amount of ink and photons the past couple of days, from the International Herald Tribune to CNET, the San Jose Mercury News, and the usual list of electronics/tech press suspects.

One problem though: the PR---and every story I've seen so far---has the name of the new company wrong. The release went out with the spelling as "Nanolithosolutions," when in fact it is "Nanolithosolution," with no "s" at the end (and thus no intended or unintended plural, I guess). I discovered this error when company CEO Bo Pi replied to my email, via the H-P media relations folks. No wonder I had had no luck finding the company's Website!

For the record, the company's Website is www.nanolithosolution.com. The venture also has come up with an initialism: NLS.

Stay tuned as I try and find out more about this new player in the nanoimprint litho tool space.
