Dr. Gary O’Brien moves to Memsic as VP of Engineering Print E-mail

MemsicMemsic, Inc., the MEMS design company, has announced the appointment of Dr. Gary O’Brien to the role of Vice President of Engineering.  In this role, Dr. O’Brien will oversee all product design plans for the company’s worldwide engineering teams. 

Joining the company from Motorola’s Sensor Products Division, Dr. O’Brien spent a 12-year tenure working with the company in designing and developing multiple sensor systems for both Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor.

He has nine MEMS-related patents, and has earned a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology; an M.S. in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology; and a Ph.D. in the same discipline from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Memsic, Inc. is a MEMS design company.
