YaoSiBEAM’s Asia-Pacific sales efforts receive a new leader with the appointment of David Yao (pictured) to the role of Vice President of Sales for the region.  Yao’s responsibilities will include the management of all sales activities as well as the driving of implementation of new sales offices in the area.

Joining the company from his former role as Vice President of Field Sales for Silicon Image, Yao brings years of experience in semiconductor-related sales and product management to SiBEAM. “David’s understanding of CE customers’ requirements and experience in building Asia Pacific-based markets from the ground up make him the ideal candidate to manage and cultivate our customer base,” said John LeMoncheck, SiBEAM President and CEO.

Mr. Yao also worked with Trident Microsystems as Director of Sales for Japan, and with Intel Corp. as product marketing manager for the Graphics Chipset Division.  He has a B.S.E.E. from Santa Clara University.

SiBEAM, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor company based in California.
