Chip Shots relaunches today |

After the demise of MICRO and my layoff from Canon Communications on July 31, I decided to take the rest of the summer off.
During my self-imposed sabbatical, I tried not to look too closely at semi/nano/etc. news, focusing on relaxation, recharging, and enjoyment of some serious down time. I did collect the various relevant e-newsletters during August and September, so I could go back and review them when I decided to reenter the fray.
This week, I am officially reentering the fray. Over the next few weeks, I plan to look back and ruminate on some of the chip- and nanogizmo-related news and events that transpired during my absence. I'll also be posting comments from the ISMI Manufacturing Symposium taking place in Austin, TX, this week. And, of course, I'll be taking a look at anything hot off the virtual presses.
I encourage your comments too. I hope the relaunch of Chip Shots will turn into a conversation, not just a monologue.
