EE Times lets Lammers go -- who's next? Print E-mail
Oct 10, 2006 at 09:27 AM
Here at the ISMI symposium in Austin, I just spoke with Dave Lammers, long-time editor at large for EE Times, who told me he is part of a group of staffers being laid off by the publication. Dave is a dean of silicon-technology journalism, one of the few true old-school reporters left in the game. His departure from the paper marks yet another deterioration in the micro-/nanoelectronics media space, as well as a further indication of the blowback from the ongoing transition from print to digital/Internet approaches.

Dave, sorry about the layoff but welcome to the ranks of un(der)employed editors!
