ASMC extends abstract deadline |

The Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Conference (ASMC) has pushed back the deadline for submission of abstracts for the 2007 event to Oct.
26, according to conference manager Margaret Kindling of SEMI. The conference had been alternating between Munich and Boston each spring, but the 2007 version will take place a little later on the calendar--June 11-12--and will relocate to a new European site--Stresa, Italy (northwest of Milan).
As I noted recently, I rank ASMC among the top three manufacturing-oriented conferences on the chipmaking event calendar. Those in the fab and fab-supply chain worlds, especially those in Europe, should make a point of participating in or attending next year's conference.
