Applied’s Dr. John Lee joins MKS as Group Vice President Print E-mail

ImageDr. John T.C. Lee has taken up the post of Group Vice President for MKS Instruments, with responsibility for control and information technology and electrostatic discharge products.  Dr. Lee’s most recent post was as Managing Director of the Technology and Solutions Integration Group in Applied Materials’ Solar Business division. 

Having also served as General Manager of the Cleans Product Group for Applied Materials and the Maydan Technology Center, his time with Applied was preceded by a Research Director role in Lucent Technologies’ Silicon Fabrication Research Department.  Lee also worked within Bell Labs’ Plasma Processing Research Group.  He has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from MIT.

MKS Instruments, Inc. is a process control technology provider.
