PV manufacturers unite to form Claudine Schneider-led Solar Alliance Print E-mail

SolarAn association of solar-based manufacturers and installers has been announced with the purpose of developing and improving solar policies and programs throughout the U.S. Aptly named “The Solar Alliance,” the partaking companies have named former Congresswoman Claudine Schneider (pictured) as President of the group. 

Ms. Schneider’s five terms in congress saw her author legislation that focussed on energy efficiency and renewable energy, and she has also held an advisory capacity with organizations such as the EPA Climate Leaders and the American Solar Energy Society.
