Aviza Technology has said that due to a drop in expected revenues in the next few quarters as chip manufacturers go through a tool digestion period, it has decided to further reduce Company's cost structure, including staff reductions.
"These actions will not compromise our strategic initiatives and will improve the Company's long-term performance," stated Jerry Cutini, Aviza's President and CEO.

The job cuts are not expected to be significant, according to sources.
