Veteran hack David Manners has a great story over at Electronics Weekly about the ongoing battle between ARM Holdings and Intel Corp. over low-power microprocessors.

In an interview with ARM’s CEO, Warren East, Manners asked him what he thought of
Paul Otellini’s comments that you get a ‘fuller’ experience of the internet when using Intel’s microprocessors.

East’s response was “weasel words” as the “user experience has got nothing whatsoever to do with the architecture of the microprocessor.”

In the age of corporate correctness, especially from those people at the corporate level, it’s refreshing to see that someone isn’t afraid to say it like it is.
