ImageAn expanded commercial supply agreement was signed between Synopsys and Intel that will see the EDA specialist take the mantle of primary EDA supplier for Intel Corp.  The multi-year collaboration will see an exchange of design and technology developments for the furthering and development of Intel's design process plans.

"It has always been Synopsys' strategy to work closely with other technology leaders with one clear objective: lead in the state-of-the-art of modern design," said Aart de Geus (pictured), Chairman and CEO of Synopsys, Inc. "By teaming up with Intel, we will jointly drive forward a whole new phase of Moore's Law's evolution."
