Nanometrics ends CEO search |

News in March 2007 of the unexplained departure of company CEO John Heaton led to the appointment of Bruce C. Rhine to the post of interim CEO while the company searched for a permanent replacement, a search that is now at an end (http://www.fabtech.org/content/view/2638/0/). The company has announced that it has appointed Dr. Timothy J. Stultz
(pictured) to the role
with effect in late August.
Dr. Stultz has also been appointed to the Board of Directors, while Mr. Rhine takes up the role of Chairman of the Board and company founder Vincent J. Coates becomes vice Chairman of the Board.
CEO, Director and President for Imago Scientific Instruments since 2003, Dr. Stultz brings almost 25 years of experience to the Nanometrics CEO role. Founder and CEO of Peak Systems, Inc., he spent five years as Vice President and General Manager with Veeco Instruments, which position he followed with a role as President and CEO forThauMDx.
Nanometrics is a metrology systems manufacturer.
