AMD Bangalore12 year veteran of AMD, Ramkumar Subramanian, has been appointed the new Sales and Marketing Vice President for India and SAARC region. Ramkumar previously was a senior member of the Technology Development Group. Most recently, he was director of corporate development, responsible for initiatives in China, Brazil and Russia.


Ramkumar will be based in Bangalore and report to Ian Williams, AMD’s Corporate Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region. Ramkumar will have the task to grow sales in the region as well as strengthening the company’s relationships with partners, government and education sectors.

Ramkumar holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA from Duke University and an undergraduate degree from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirapalli.
