UMCDr. Arthur Kuo has decided to accept a role with UMC that will see him return to the company following a spell elsewhere. His new role as Senior Vice President at UMC-USA, the company’s wholly-owned sales office based in Sunnyvale, California, will see Dr. Kuo draw on his experience in the fields of product development, sales and marketing and IC process development.

A 20-year veteran of the industry, Dr. Kuo’s past roles include senior roles in customer engineering, sales and marketing at UMC-USA, as well as roles with LSI Logic, S3 Graphics and Watkins-Johnson. He has a Ph.D and an M.S. in electrical engineering from Syracuse University and a B.S. from National Central University in Taiwan.
