K. BarnesThe Verigy Board of Directors has announced a reshuffle that will result in the appointment of a new Chairman, a new Board member and a lead independent director.  Verigy CEO and President Keith Barnes (pictured) has taken up the role of Chairman of the Board following the planned resignation of the company's former Chairman, Agilent CFO Adrian Dillon.

Further changes include the appointment of Edward C. Grady to the Board of Directors (see http://www.fabtech.org/content/view/2973/0/), and the appointment of Board member Scott Gibson to the post of lead independent director.  All changes take effect immediately.

Verigy is a provider of semiconductor testing equipment.
