Micron’s CFO announces retirement Print E-mail

W. StoverWilbur G. Stover, Jr. (pictured) has announced his intention to resign from his post as CFO and Vice President of Finance on completion of the company's current fiscal year.  The company will begin a search for a replacement for Mr. Stover, who will remain in the post until such a candidate is found.

Mr. Stover has been with Micron since 1989. He was appointed Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Micron Semiconductor in 1992, moving to the role of CFO of Micron Technology in 1994.  His time with Micron was preceded with a role as audit manager with Coopers & Lybrand.  He has a B.Sc. degree in business administration from Washington State University.

Micron Technology, Inc. is a major IDM.
