Marvell had previously stated at the time of the XScale business portfolio from Intel for US$600 million a year ago that supply from Intel would be wound down and all products transferred to TSMC.
Intel is expected to attempt to sell the Colorado Springs fab separately as part of a strategy to migrate away from legacy 200mm production facilities.
