Intel to close Fab 11 with more than 1,000 jobs going Print E-mail

According to news reports Intel is closing Fab 11 a 200mm fab producing 130nm flash products this year with the potential loss of over 1,000 jobs. Intel has already announced the closure of other 200mm fabs as further technology migrations are not possible in these legacy fabs.
