Tool Order: Aviza wins new 300mm fab customer in Taiwan |

 A leading foundry based in Taiwan has placed a multiple system order for Aviza's ‘RVP-300plus' thermal processing system, the first the company has received from this new customer.
"Aviza is extremely pleased to have secured a multiple system order for our RVP-300plus thermal processing systems," said May Su, Vice President and General Manager, Thermal Business Unit of Aviza Technology, Inc. "The suite of systems targeted for this customer includes features developed as part of the Aviza's product improvement program to meet the growing reliability and serviceability needs of a large volume DRAM manufacturing facility. We are looking forward to supporting this leading foundry's growing needs."
The customer will use the RVP-300plus systems for diffusion and low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD) applications to meet their high-volume DRAM device manufacturing requirements for the 90nm and below geometries at a new 300mm facility.
