Semitool cuts workforce due to delays and order push-outs Print E-mail

Semitool has said that it has cut its workforce by 7 percent (approximately 92 jobs) in the last quarter. This is due to unforeseen order delays from key customers in both memory and microprocessor markets as well as receiving push-out delivery dates from memory customers by at least two quarters.

The cost reduction strategies also include salary cuts at management level, the company said.
