Hyun-Dae Cho to take over as president of SEMI Korea |

Joo-Hoon Lee (pictured) is to step down from the position of president of SEMI Korea in April 2007, and will be replaced by Hyun-Dae Cho. Lee, who has been with the company since 1995, will remain with the company in an advisory capacity until December 2007 to aid in Cho's transition. Cho takes over Lee's responsibilities, which include supervision of the company's services and products in the Korea region, supporting SEMI's international programs, and maintenance of relationships with SEMI members, industries and local government.
H. D. Cho worked with Photon Dynamics Korea as representative director before joining SEMI. He has also worked for Metron Technology Korea as the company's country manager, and has held the positions of representative director of Materials Research Corporation Korea Co., Ltd., and country export and manufacturing director with Digital Equipment Korea, Inc. Cho has a Bachelor of Economics and an MBA from Korea University.
SEMI is an industry trade association.
