K. FaheyKevin P. Fahey has been named CEO and president of Metrosol, the Texas-based metrology start-up.  His new position will see him driving the company's international metrology systems business and applying his technical, leadership and business efficiency skills to the company's ongoing metrology sales drive.

Fahey was chosen for the role following an extensive search for a suitable company leader.  His previous employment as vice president and general manager for FEI's Fab Market Division saw him responsible for the company's nanoscale division marketing and development.  He has a BSc in Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MS and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University.

Metrosol is a semiconductor metrology equipment company.
