Magnetic-disk equipment supplier standardizes on AE’s pulsed-DC power system |

 Advanced Energy Industries has said that a leading equipment supplier to the data storage industry has standardized on AE's Pinnacle Plus+, pulsed-DC power supply system. According to AE, the customer's reason for standardizing was because of the system's proactive arc management, pulsing-power delivery, and compatibility with a broad range of both metallic and reactive materials.
"Data storage equipment manufacturers must continually address fast-moving consumer trends as well as technological hurdles, stated Dr. Hans Betz, president and CEO of AE.
