Meir Mimon has been named as worldwide Vice President of sales and
marketing for Jordan Valley Semiconductors Ltd. The appointment follows
the recent news of the acquisition of Bede, the HRXRD metrology
company. Mr. Mimon will oversee Jordan Valley’s growth strategy and
customer support operations to increase the company’s market share.
Mr. Mimon’s former post was as Vice President of Business
Development, in which role he supervised the company’s acquisition of
Bede. Prior to joining Jrodan Valley in January 2008, he worked as
corporate sales director for KLA-Tencor’s metrology group and overlay
division. He worked with companies including Pelephone Israel, Orbotech
and Digital Equipment Corporation earlier in his career.
He has
a degree in economics from Haifa University, an M.B.A. from
Heriott-Watt University and an Executive M.B.A. from Technion
Institution of Management in Israel.
