John KispertJohn Kispert, President and Chief Operating Officer at KLA-Tencor Corporation has announced his intention to the leave the company at the end of 2008. Rick Wallace, KLA’s Chief Executive Officer will take over Kispert’s responsibilities, the company said.

“John has been a key contributor at KLA-Tencor for many years. During his tenure with the company he has seen us through the implementation of numerous strategic initiatives, multiple acquisitions, the addition of new global facilities, the launch of industry-leading products and much more,” said Rick Wallace. “We thank John for his years of service and leadership, which have greatly contributed to the company’s success.”

Kispert joined KLA-Tencor in 1995, holding various positions within the company. The company also announced the appointment of its new CFO, Mark Dentinger, which is effective September 3, 2008.
