McClenahan Bruer strengthens communications tech team |

 McClenahan Bruer Communications (McBru) have announced the appointment of Rebecca Burrell and Venera Cushman to communications positions in the Oregon-based company.
Ms. Burrell joins the team as an account assistant providing PR and advertising support to such clients as Aeroflex Inc., Cascade Microtech and FEI Co. She comes to McBru with a B.A. in Communications from Antioch College and experience working for a variety of organizations in the communications and marketing area.
Venera Cushman, who takes the role of communications counsel, serves clients such as ON Semiconductor, PolyServe and Virage Logic. She has worked with Young & Roehr Group (YRG) as a PR executive supporting a variety of technology accounts including semiconductor, software and IT markets. She has degrees in journalism and public relations from Gonzaga University.
Kerry McClenahan, agency principal for McBru, has welcomed the news: "2006 has been a growth year for McBru. We continue to see strong demand from our existing clients as well as new accounts," adding that the new recruits' experience will be beneficial to the company's public relations growth.
