EDA-related employment rose 7 percent year-on-year Print E-mail

According to the EDA Consortium, member companies employed 23,784 professionals in Q2 2006, up 7% from the 22,130 reported in Q2 2005. This comes on the back of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) companies seeing revenues increase 15 percent to $1,180 million in Q2 of 2006 compared to $1,028 million in the same quarter of 2005.
