SanDisk strengthens operational and supply chain team with new VP appointment |

SanDisk has announced the appointment of Juha Raisanen as senior Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Supply Chain Raisanen. With more than twenty years of industry experience, Raisanen will be responsible for SanDisk's worldwide operations and supply chain and will be based in Shanghai.
Raisanen comes to SanDisk from his position as Vice President of Nokia
Corporation, where he was responsible for the supply chain and
operations process, systems solutions development, and spent time in
charge of logistics and sourcing organizations in Asia and Europe on
both regional and business division levels. He has also worked in
various executive roles, for example in operations management at ICL
Fujitsu and as both editor and co-editor of various industry
publications. He has an M. S. degree in Industrial Engineering,
Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering from Helsinki
University of Technology.
His responsibilities in SanDisk will include managing supply chain,
supervising worldwide manufacturing operations and maintaining the
existing operational efficiency of the company. Raisanen will report
to Dr. Randhir Thakur, executive Vice President of technology and
worldwide operations, who has welcomed the addition of Raisanen to the
SanDisk team: "Juha's extensive experience and management skills will
be of tremendous value to manage our growth and leverage our extensive
manufacturing operations to meet the increasing demand for our
products."
