SEMI moves date & location of SEMICON EUROPA Print E-mail

SEMIDebate has been ongoing since over 100 exhibitors at both SEMICON China and SEMICON Europa, following soon after, complained that it was becoming impossible to do both shows. They feel that the shows are so close together and yet globally so far apart that the Europa event would need to find a new date in the trade show schedule.



Although no press release has yet been issued and several major European based exhibitors have not yet received personal news of the changes, SEMI has posted details of the changes in its events section of its website.

For 2007 only, Europa is scheduled for 9-11 of October at the Messe Stuttgart Exhibition Conference Center in Stuttgart, Germany. A new date and venue for 2008 has yet to be decided, according to SEMI's website.
