Gustavo Arenas (pictured), former Senior Vice President for AMD, has
been promoted to the position of Chief Sales Officer for the company
with immediate effect. Reporting to the office of the CEO, Mr. Arenas
takes up responsibility for coordination of the company’s regional
sales organizations and collaboration between these and the company’s
global customers.
Arenas joined AMD in 2003, and held responsibility for AMD’s sales,
marketing and business organizations for North America. Prior to
joining AMD, he spent over 30 years working with Motorola in roles
including Corporate Vice President and General Manager.
