Therma-WaveA leading foundry based in Asia has placed repeat orders with Therma-Wave for its Opti-Probe OP7341XP thin-film measurement and Therma-Probe TP630XP ion implant monitoring tools that will be used in its 300mm semiconductor production facilities. The customer is believed to be TSMC for Fab 12 and Fab 14 production expansion in 2006.

"As we strengthen our relationship with this important customer, our focus remains on the development and delivery of metrology systems that offer cutting edge proprietary technology which optimizes our customer's production processes and increases throughput while simultaneously maintaining a low total cost of ownership," stated Boris Lipkin, president and chief executive officer of Therma-Wave Inc.
