Inotera successfully raises funds for second 300mm fab Print E-mail

Inotera Fab 1A Global Depositary Receipts offering from Inotera Memories only a few months after its IPO on the Taiwanese Stock Exchange was over-subscribed, according to Taiwanese news reports and netted the Joint Venture company $421.2 million US dollars. The majority of the proceeds are expected to be used for the first phase tool install at Inotera's second 300mm fab that is currently under construction in Taiwan. Tool install is expected to start in November 2006, with first phase production planned at 30,000wspm.

Capital expenditure for 2006 has been set at around $860 million US dollars.
