GrenobleEuroSOI '06, is an international conference to promote collaboration between silicon-on-insulator (SOI) research groups and industrial partners involved in SOI research and sponsored by the European Union, Soitec, INP Grenoble and CEA-Leti. The conference is to be held March 8-10, 2006 in Grenoble, France.
Professor Jerry Fossum  (University of Florida) will kick off the conference with his address on "Physical insights on nanoscale multi-gate CMOS design."  Professor Serge Luryi (Stony Brook University, New York) will speak on "Non-classic SOI devices: genuine or copyright from III-V."  In addition, 63 presentations have been selected as part of the technical program.  Conference officials report there will also be an SOI training course held on March 8, with 6 exciting tutorials.
