ImageAsyst Technologies, has been selected by a large capital equipment manufacturer to integrate and qualify its Interface A, equipment data acquisition software on 5 different tool platforms. According to the company this is the 15th design win for Asyst's Interface A software products. "Semiconductor OEMs are increasingly turning to Asyst to implement Interface A standards on semiconductor process and metrology equipment due to our products' flexibility, ease of implementation and quality. We are seeing increased interest and experiencing unprecedented commercial success with our Interface A suite of products," said Jim Holliday, vice president of software product marketing for Asyst. "These design wins from leading industry OEMs, often in side-by-side comparison with other available products, highlight the growing acceptance of Interface A as an industry standard, and more specifically of Asyst's implementation of the standard."
