Bruno Guilmart joins Lattice Semiconductor as President and CEO Print E-mail

ImageLattice Semiconductor has named former Unisem Group CEO Bruno Guilmart as its new President and CEO, effective from July 7th. The appointment follows the resignation from the role of Steve Skaggs at the end of May and the subsequent appointment of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Jan Johannessen as Interim CEO.

ASML’s Supervisory Board announces resignation of Rolf Deusinger Print E-mail

ASML HQRolf Deusinger, a member of the Advisory Board for ASML, has announced his resignation from the role with immediate effect. A member of the Board since July 2007, Mr. Deusinger has accepted a new position with another company, hence his departure from ASML.

Xilinx to cut 7% of workforce Print E-mail

In an effort at cutting costs and improving operating performance, Xilinx, Inc. has decided to cut 7% of its workforce, which represents approximately 250 employees. The cuts will incur charges of between $18 and $22 million, the majority of which cost will be recorded in the company’s 1Q09 fiscal report. The job losses are expected to be put into effect by the end of the next fiscal quarter.

Executive reshuffles and new CEO for FormFactor Print E-mail

ImageCurrently serving as company President, Mario Ruscev (pictured) has been promoted to the role of CEO for FormFactor, replacing company founder Igor Khandros. Mr. Khandros now assumes the role of Executive Chairman of the company Board of Directors, in turn succeeding Jim Prestridge, who takes up the mantle of lead independent Director. All executive changes will come into effect at the beginning of the company’s fiscal third quarter of 2008.

ImageFormer Nvidia executive Alex Garcia has joined International Rectifier as Vice President of Compliance, and will oversee the company’s corporate compliance programs and internal audit function. He joins the company from his former role as Senior Director and Head of Internal Audit at Nvidia Corp.
