New CEO for Magnum Semiconductor Print E-mail

G. SolankiGopal Solanki (pictured) has taken over the Magnum Semiconductor CEO role from Jack Guedj, the company announced yesterday. Joining the company from NVIDIA, where he was Senior Vice President for the company’s chipset business, he brings over 20 years of semiconductor industry experience to the CEO role.

Lattice on the lookout for a new CEO Print E-mail

ImageLattice Semiconductor has announced the impending resignation of CEO Steve Skaggs on May 31st, 2008. Currently serving as CEO and President of the company, Mr. Skaggs’ reason for his resignation was not disclosed. He has served as CEO since 2005 and will aid in the search for a replacement until his effective date of resignation is reached.

ImageDr. Hamza Yilmaz has been added to the Alpha & Omega team, taking up the role of Executive Vice President of Business Development for the fabless company. A seasoned executive of power semiconductor companies, he has a B.S.E.E. from Yildiz Technical University, an M.S.E.E. from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.

Brooks Automation names new CFO Print E-mail

ImageFollowing Robert Woodbury’s resignation from the role of CFO and Executive Vice President of Brooks Automation in December 2007, Richard Small was brought on board to add the interim CFO role to his title of Senior VP and Corporate Controller. The company has now named a permanent replacement for Mr. Woodbury as Martin S. Headley, who assumes the title of CFO and EVP with immediate effect.

Mr Grady retired from the role of CEO of Brooks Automation in August 2007, and is currently a member of the Board for companies including Molecular Imprints and Verigy.
