VLSI Research lists top ten critical subsystems suppliers for 2005 Print E-mail

ImageVLSI Research has ranked by revenues the ‘Top Ten' merchant suppliers of critical subsystems for the semiconductor, flat panel display, and data storage manufacturing industries in 2005. ImageECD Ovonics has selected AE's ‘Cesar' and ‘Dressler' power systems and ‘VarioMatch' matching networks for its second manufacturing facility capable of producing 25MW thin-film, triplejunction, photovoltaic solar cells, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Metron to distribute Parker Hannifin’s Partek flow control product line Print E-mail

ImageMetron Technology, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Applied Materials will become a global distributor of Parker Hannifin's Partek flow control product line. Metron will carry stocks in all local depots and will be supported with trained personnel, according to the company.

ImagePfeiffer Vacuum Technology AG has posted its best financial results in the company's history with sales reaching 159.5 million Euros for 2005. Part of the sales increase was attributed to the recovery in the semiconductor industry. Entegris starts Malaysian manufacturing site expansion Print E-mail

ImageEntegris has begun construction of a 91,000 square-foot extension to its Kulim, Malaysia manufacturing facility that will house both research and development and manufacturing capabilities.
