Mark Osborne has been Editor-in-Chief of Semiconductor Fabtech since January 1996, and has been writing online for over 10 years. In 2005, Mark began blogging on the semiconductor industry – the first editor in the industry to do so. A 20-year veteran of the publishing industry, Mark has a joint honours degree in Politics and Modern History from Manchester University.
Síle Mc Mahon, Sub Editor and Content Manager, Semiconductor Fabtech
Síle Mc Mahon joined Fabtech in 2006 as sub editor of Semiconductor Fabtech and content manager of Fabtech.org. She also writes our Going Places news pieces for print and online and some of the Recruitment news articles for the online section. She has an honours degree in English and Philosophy from NUI, Galway and an M. Phil in Linguistics from Trinity College, Dublin. Her first name does not, contrary to popular opinion, rhyme with mile - the odd spelling of her name (pronounced “Sheila”) derives from the fact that she is Irish – agus an-bródúil as!
Adam Morrison, Sales and Publication Manager, Semiconductor Fabtech
Adam Morrison became sales and publication director of Semiconductor Fabtech in 2004, having spent 10 years in technology sales both in the UK and the US. He has an extensive knowledge of both the commercial and technical aspects of the semiconductor industry. Adam can be found in the Angel most days after work as a result of the prolific use of voicemail in today’s world.
David Owen, Managing Director, Semiconductor Media Ltd.
David has been Managing Director of Semiconductor Media since 2007. In that time he has launched www.pv-tech.org and www.semiconductorjob.org. David has six years’ experience in managing business development activities in the UK and the Asia Pacific Rim and is enjoying the new challenges associated with learning the technical side of the semiconductor industry. He has a Bachelor of Arts with honours in English and Medieval Studies from Sydney University and has almost finished his MBA with the University of Technology in Sydney. An avid reader, David also enjoys any sporting event that results in the defeat of England.
Daniel Ryder, Online Sales Executive, Fabtech.org
Daniel is a relatively new addition to Team Fabtech and the semiconductor industry. He’s also the youngest member of the crew at the sprightly age of 23. He has a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Psychology from Plymouth University and has previously worked on sales teams for the Investor Services Journal and The Daily Telegraph. In his spare time, Daniel produces electronic music at break-neck speeds, and on occasion can be found “bringing the noise” to a number of London’s finer establishments.
